They come from a place inside of me...
From a place held professionally...
With boundaried gates, cared for respectfully...
A place where stories of grief and loss abounds...
A place so accepting that love mounds...
For "HErARTWORKS" carries the message
"Care in healing",
Contained within a shape so familiar and often appealing...
A place that yields equality of feeling...
Without intrusion of words that can be stealing...
For this is "sacred ground" that we all do share,
The journey of life is a path we often compare...
For these images
Tell the story of growth, longing and healing,
That is open to everyone who is willing...
She holds this place right there...
For a community in which she cares,
A place she helps, in her profession to repair,
A place that we all do share...whether we agree or not,
In our community, it's there.
So here, I offer, for those to see,
HEART-WORKS to ponder and enjoy from me
